🌐 General
Yes — 100% virtual. We serve clients nationwide, from Florida to California and everywhere in between. All you need is a computer and an internet connection.
Absolutely. We serve clients in English, Português (Brazilian), and Español. Many of our clients prefer to discuss their finances in their native language — and we think that's exactly how it should be.
We work with small businesses across many industries — e-commerce, restaurants, real estate, consulting, retail, health & wellness, and more. If you're a small to mid-size business owner, we're likely a great fit.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and am also a federally licensed Enrolled Agent (EA) — authorized by the IRS to represent clients in audits, appeals, and collections. EAs specialize in taxation and must pass a rigorous IRS exam and complete continuing education. We do not perform attest or audit services (which require a CPA license), but we handle bookkeeping, advisory, and tax preparation for small businesses.
📒 Bookkeeping
We primarily use QuickBooks Online (QBO). We're a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and include your QBO subscription in our bookkeeping packages. If you already have another system, let's talk — we may be able to accommodate it.
You're not alone — this is one of the most common situations we see. We offer catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping as a standalone service or add-on. We'll review your situation, give you a clear quote, and get everything current.
Everything is handled digitally and securely. We use a secure portal for document sharing. We also connect directly to your bank and credit card accounts through QuickBooks — so most transactions come in automatically.
Monthly — you'll receive a Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement every month within a few business days after the prior month closes. Advisory clients also get a summary email and access to their live QBO dashboard anytime.
📊 Client Advisory Services
We go through your Profit & Loss, review key metrics against your budget, flag anything unusual, and talk through cash flow. The goal is to make sure you leave the call knowing exactly where your business stands and what needs attention.
It depends on your goals. If you just want clean books and accurate reports, our Essential plan is perfect. If you want help understanding and acting on those numbers — forecasting, budgeting, strategic conversations — that's when advisory services make sense. We can talk through it on your free call.
Yes — you can upgrade your plan at any time. Many clients start with bookkeeping-only and add advisory services once their business grows or they want more strategic support.
📋 Tax Preparation
No — we also accept standalone tax clients. However, bookkeeping clients enjoy a discount on tax prep because we already have clean, organized financials. If you come as a standalone tax client, we'll need to review your documents and may ask for additional records.
We prepare personal returns (1040, including Schedule C), S-Corporation returns (1120-S), Partnership returns (1065), and single or multi-member LLC returns. We also file extensions and handle prior-year amendments.
Yes. As an Enrolled Agent, I'm federally authorized to represent clients before the IRS — including in audits, appeals, and collection matters. This is something a regular bookkeeper or non-credentialed preparer cannot do.
We start taking tax clients in January. We recommend reaching out as early as February for personal returns and March for business returns. We do file extensions if needed, but earlier is always better — especially if you owe money.
💰 Pricing & Billing
No. All bookkeeping and advisory packages are month-to-month. To cancel, we ask for 30 days' notice. That's it.
Bookkeeping is based on transaction volume and the complexity of your accounts. Advisory packages have set tiers. Tax prep is based on the complexity of your return. We give you a clear, flat quote after your free intake call — no surprises.
Monthly packages are billed on the 1st of each month. Tax prep is invoiced upon completion of your return. We accept ACH bank transfer and major credit cards.
🚀 Getting Started
After your free call, we send you a proposal and a service agreement. Once signed, we set up your QuickBooks account (or connect to an existing one), request bank access, and get started. Most clients are fully onboarded within a week.
Just a computer, your business bank and credit card statements, and 20 minutes for a free call. We'll walk you through everything else.
We'll handle the transition. If your prior bookkeeper has your QuickBooks file or records, we'll coordinate the handoff and review everything to ensure accuracy. Switching is easier than most people think.
